Other features that make the Ash an excellent choice include a large removable ash pan to make maintenance easy and a multi-fuel grill that allows you to burn smokeless coal and wood together and a tertiary air inlet to increase the efficiency of combustion. It is a DEFRA-approved, Ecodesign-compliant stove that has clearSkies level five credentials. This means it emits 90% less emissions than a traditional open-fire, and more than 80% less than a stove that is not exempt from DEFRA.
